Dark Harvest is rarely taken at high MMR in the jungle because it's a high variance rune. Damaging a Champion below 50% health deals adaptive damage and harvests their soul, permanently increasing Dark Harvest's damage by 5 (2 on ARAM). Dark Harvest feels kinda lame now & Electrocute has been doing me a great service on alot of the champions I used to use the other on.
