The Munekata Sisters (宗方姉妹, Munekata Kyōdai) is a 1950 drama film directed by Yasujirō Ozu and starring Kinuyo Tanaka and Hideko Takamine. But the most unusual modern character is that of Yoriko (Sanae Takasugi), Hiroshi's Platonic lady friend, a successful stock broker from Osaka.
