2011 Murrumbidgee Regional Landcare Awards
Submitted by Lynton Bond on Sat, 15/01/2011 - 00:40The 2011 Murrumbidgee Regional Landcare Awards, are held every two years, to recognise the achievements of the dedicated people who have committed their time to care for our environment and contribute to sustainable production.
Individuals or groups can nominate themselves or others.
Winners will be announced at the 2011 Murrumbidgee Regional Landcare Awards Presentation and Celebration event to be held in April 2011.
Landcare People's Choice Award

You are encouraged to get behind your favourite Landcare finalist with the winner to be announced at the National Landcare Gala dinner at Parliament House, Canberra on Thursday 24 June.
Winners of the ACT Landcare Awards

"It was a real pleasure for me to coordinate the awards as it is a fantastic opportunity to see firsthand the variety of environmental projects across the region", says Esther Duffy, ACT Landcare Coordinator.
"The winners ranged from 18 to 91 years of age, from individuals to parkcare groups as well as Craft ACT."
