Help Greening Australia, Murrumbateman Landcare Group, Yass Valley Council and the RTA improve local habitat and diversity.
Due to the location, participant numbers are restricted to 45, and transported by bus provided by GA.

Come and see how native trees and shrubs can be integrated into grazing paddocks to improve both production and conservation. RSVP by 7 October 2011 essential. Morning Tea and Lunch will be provded.
UMCCC Members with 4WD vehicles are asked to contact Pauline Carder. UMCCC will coordinate carpooling from GA in Aranda. Costs can be reimbursed.

Canberra 100 planting day – a date for your diary
Submitted by Sandy Lloyd on Tue, 16/03/2010 - 01:33On 12 March 2013, Canberra will celebrate 100 years since its naming as the National Capital of Australia. The vast areas of bushland in the ACT are one of the aspects that this celebration will highlight. As a lead up event, Greening Australia will be running some planting days in the Lower Cotter. This is the first of these event and we hope to attract all our volunteers, families and friends for a huge day of planting.
African love grass is a significant weed. It has spread rapidly and has the potential to invade the whole of south eastern Australia.
