Where: Molonglo Catchment Group Meeting Room
Unit 10, Cassidy's Arcade
72-76 Monaro Street, Queanbeyan.
Workshop on identifying algae and using them as indicator species. Essential learning for Waterwatch volunteers. Presented by Dr Steve Skinner, the Waterwatch Coordinator for Molonglo Catchment Group.
Dr Steve Skinner has been working on a system for site classification of algae for use by Waterwatch volunteers as an additional indicator of water quality. This will be interesting and informative and has been much anticipated by the Waterwatch community.
